This is the end ...

Greetings Shri fans! So, after 24 years, 18 albums and 21 tours of Europe, Shri as a musical project, is coming to an end. After over a year of deliberation, and taking into account many factors both individually and collectively, we have decided to hang it up. Its been a great run and we appreciate all your love and support. If you would like to see the band play one last time, we do have two final gigs we're going to play: Saturday, August 26 in downtown Clarkdale, AZ from 7:00 - 9:00 and Saturday, September 3 at Granite Creek Vineyards in Chino Valley, AZ from 1:00 - 4:00. So long folks!!

Final European Tour Comes to a Glorious End

Some form of Shri has been touring Europe every summer for 4 to 10 weeks at a time for 21 years! An impressive run that we're quite proud of. In that time we've met so many wonderful people and collected a loyal following with many rewarding friendships and joyous reunions every year. But, all good things will come to an end, and the grueling nature of driving around Europe in a van full of 9 people and all our gear has finally caught up with us, it simply isn't feasible to continue touring the way we've always done it, so we're hanging it up! This was the last tour and we went out with a bang! Glorious concerts throughout France, Germany and Switzerland highlighted by gigs in Leipzig, Hohwacht, Freiburg and Talloires were a great send-off. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us and to everyone who've supported us along the way over the years - we love ya!!

Shri Welcomes Ricky Henderson!

Shri Blues Band is thrilled to welcome Ricky Henderson to the team. Ricky is a very talented and creative guitarist and composer hailing from Brisbane, Australia. A veteran guitar player, Ricky has toured the world with the Denise Allen Band and played with numerous bands in his native country. We're very excited to welcome him aboard the Shri mothership! Ricky's still working out his move to Arizona from Australia, but plans to join the band in time for this summer's European tour in July. Welcome Ricky!!

Shri Turns Another Page

We're saddened to say that long-time Shri Blues Band harmonica player Nachama "Miss G" Greenwald is retiring from the band and will no longer be playing with us. A 17 year veteran of Shri, Nachama's soulful and evocative harmonica playing will be deeply missed but we wish her the best in whatever is next for her! Thanks for all the great music Nachama - we'll miss ya!
